The factory “subwoofer” is simply no match for the big cabin and fails to generate enough output.

Stealthbox® for 2011-Up Ford Explorer

Our Stealthbox® for the Explorer fixes all that by replacing the OEM “subwoofer” with a sealed enclosure housing a potent 10-inch JL Audio subwoofer driver. The enclosure installs onto the passenger side rear corner of the cargo area and will not interfere with 3rd row seat folding functionality. When you’re ready to haul some cargo, the included steel mesh grille keeps the driver safe.

The Hard Data: Contains one 10W3v3-2 subwoofer in a sealed enclosure. 500 watt power handling. Wired for 2 ohm mono. Black steel mesh woofer grille is included. Installs into passenger-side rear cargo panel and requires removal of factory “subwoofer”, if so equipped. Not compatible with Cargo Security Shade Accessory.
