In some models the mount connector is built-in, but with most models, this cast metal adapter ring must be used to attach the camera to threaded mount poles. The adapter screws onto the threaded pole and incorporates a recessed ring that retains the PTZ head's set screws and service retainer chain if so equipped.

NOTE: The camera head wiring harness must be passed through the adapter before connecting camera harness wire leads. Make sure the threaded end is aligned with the mount pole and the indented retaining ring end is aligned towards the camera during installation.
